What is "Build-a-Pony"?

Build-a-Pony was a section of a single store (Once Upon a Toy) in Downtown Disney, in Disney World in Orlando, Florida. As of October, 2010, the Build a Pony feature was permanently closed.

This section of the store was made up similarly to a candy store, with different columns and bins of accessories, as well as a few loose ponies.

Many of the accessories are Disney-based, featuring Disney princesses and other Disney-related items.

These are not available anywhere else in the world.

Customers paid for a small cardboard box, and whatever they can fit in it from the selection.

My prices are based on both size and item availability. Larger items are generally higher in price because of the way in which Build a Pony was sold in stores, which was by the box-full. Therefore, bigger items take up much more of a very limited space. Some items were also discontinued early in Build a Pony's existence.

I have recently been asked whether or not these accessories are genuine, and the answer is 100% YES. I got these items myself from the actual, physical store in Disney World. The accessories never left their boxes until I get home, and they remain separated from the rest of my MLP sales inventory until they are packed to ship to you. It is true that Hasbro used the same accessories in some playsets, but these which I am selling are 100% authentic Disney merchandise bought on location.

Also, I sometimes give discounts depending on how much you buy. Generally speaking, the more you buy, the cheaper the price per piece. It's a win-win!
